Weekend at Boweys ✶
Somewhere between a road trip and a fever dream.
Weekend at Boweys began at sunset, somewhere on the coast, dressed in velvet, leopard print, embroidered cotton, platform boots and too many rings. What started as a photoshoot slowly became a moving little world of musicians, disco dolls, faux fur coats, motel glamour and strangers joining the story along the way, including an enormous Peterbilt truck that appeared out of nowhere like it had been written into the script from the beginning.
Under pink skies and streetlights, the Boweys girls wandered through crosswalks, parking lots and painted alleyways looking like runaway rockstars from another decade. There were guitars passed around between friends, disco balls tucked under arms, vintage gowns dragging across the pavement and a kind of beautiful chaos that only happens when nobody is trying too hard.
This collection is about that feeling, dressing up for absolutely no reason other than the joy of becoming someone larger than life for the night.
A little reckless. A little romantic. Entirely Boweys.
